Jim Daniel
Jim Daniel is a mechanical engineer by trade but loves to spend his spare time gardening with his wife Mary. Jim is currently the president of the New England Lily Society (NELS) and has also previously served a term on the board of directors for the North American Lily Society (NALS). Jim and Mary have been growing lilies in their gardens for over twenty years now.
Their first introductions to lilies was through a value pack at Walmart but were bitten by the lily ‘bug’ soon after seeing a NELS show circa 2000 and discovering the wide breadth of varieties that Lilium have to offer in the garden. Since then they have added hundreds of lilies throughout their gardens and Jim has recently begun to dabble in lily hybridizing.
